Asimismo, la llegada del Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 desde el próximo año hasta 2014, con una prueba por año en circuito urbano, que discurrirá por el Puerto, es otro importante reclamo que convierte a la Marina Real Juan Carlos I de Valencia en un marco incomparable para vivir emociones únicas.

Gracias a esta incesante transformación de Valencia, el segmento de cruceros ha experimentando un espectacular crecimiento. Entre 2001 y 2006, el incremento de escalas rondó el 400%. Las previsiones para 2007 se sitúan en 160 escalas, lo que supone una cifra aproximada de 200.000 pasajeros.

The two cruise ships stayed overnight in the city to witness the final stage of the America's Cup.

The official confirmation that the city will host the sailing competition again in 2009, along with preliminary regattas in 2008, makes Valencia even more alluring. Once again, this will be the perfect setting to watch the challengers fight it out as they attempt to wrestle the 100 Guinea Cup from Team Alinghi.
